Shine On Living is about forming positive connections, doing good, and giving back, or as we like to say... Shine On!
Shine On! Make a positive difference. This might encompass environmental efforts like sea turtle awareness and preservation, as supported by Absolutely Natural, Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles & South Walton Turtle Watch. Or reef construction, preservation and education as led by SWARA and the UMA. It could be about strengthening our economy by supporting local businesses & entrepreneurs through Chamber of Commerce and Merchant Associations or supporting our local artists and musicians with our CAA. Shine On! can be local such as helping our neighbors recover from a destructive hurricane or international through The Sonder Project’s leadership in teaching African villages about clean water and sustainable food supplies.
Other times, Shine On! can be about small, seemly insignificant acts of kindness like stopping to help fix a loose chain on a young lady’s beach cruiser so she can get to the July 4th festivities at Seaside. No matter the size or scope, make a positive connection, be kind, give back, do good... Shine On!
SHINING EXAMPLES
The mission of the Sonder Project is to empower impoverished communities through high-impact, sustainable development. We work both locally such as helping Panama City recover from Hurricane Michael as well as internationally helping African villages build clean water supplies.

Shine On Living supports the CAA which promotes local artists and our Underwater Museum of Art. The 30A Songwriters Festival is a huge annual event.
The Underwater Museum of Art is the first permanent underwater sculpture garden in the U.S. Located in the Gulf of Mexico, off of Walton County, Florida.
The South Walton Artificial Reef Association develops and maintains an extensive artificial reef system offering divers, snorkelers, fishermen, and researchers near-shore access to a thriving marine ecosystem.
Keith & Melissa, founders of Shine On Living are Christians and support various ministries through Destiny Worship Center.
